The University of Florida Libraries serves as a regional depository for federal government documents, a depository for State of Florida documents, and a depository for European Union Documents.
As a regional federal depository library (Depository Library Number 0103) in the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), the University of Florida serves selective depositories in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The government documents collections are in the Florida Academic Repository (FLARE).

Tim does complex copy cataloging of U.S. government documents including name authority work through NACO. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and studied English literature and Library Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Tim was a cataloger in Library West, under Imogene Hixson and then Nancy Williams, from 1976 to 1983. Tim loves Gator sports, especially the women's teams, all things Apple, and the Grateful Dead.
